Patrons will be allowed to make their own wine blends at the location — tasting a flight of wines and then making a mixture to fill a bottle. Customers can also make their own custom wine labels.

Ram’s Point Winery was the brainchild of Dr. Stephen Menke, a molecular biologist and winemaker. When Dr. Menke started in 2008 as the first Enologist for Colorado State University (CSU) and the Colorado Wine Industry Development Board (CWIDB). he outlined a comprehensive development plan that Included a commercial & educational winery. The winery is designed as the primary vehicle for training students and interns in best winemaking and winery business practices, as well as providing a location for enology research and outreach.
